Design Challenge: Fulfill the homeowner’s vision of reworking an existing family room sectional in the spirit of a coveted iconic piece - without the iconic price tag.

Solution: We brought bags and bags of fabrics and laid them all over the family’s existing sectional. And then we played. This one next to that one . . . that solid next to that print . . . how about the blue pallet . . . or the green . . . or maybe the deep magenta? We made the final color choice, and the homeowner was left to play on her own. She picked her favorites; we finalized the which-ones-where, and brought in our skilled – and adventurous - upholsterer for the transformation. We added some rolling cube ottomans for extra mobile seating, and the result was the completely stunning and cost-effective fulfillment of a vision.
