Urban High-Rise
Design Challenge: What to do with giant support columns in an urban high-rise condo.
Solution: We painted the columns in the palette of the condo, making them design elements rather than obstructions.
Other challenges included working with less-than-stunning builder-selected materials and finishes, designing built-ins for media, study and storage, and keeping the furnishings from obstructing the 360 views of water and skyline.

Giant structural columns painted ornge to hide in plain sight.

Low-profile furniture allows unobstructed city and lake views.
