Design Challenge: Emphasize High Ceilings creatively.

Solution: Panels of grasscloth – matched to the wall color and trimmed with wood molding – run from floor to ceiling around the room and in the entryway. The grasscloth moves the eye up to the exposed ductwork in a subtle way emphasizing the architecture and adding warmth and texture. Dramatic ceiling-hung pendant fixtures and a substantial custom-designed built-in add to the verticality.

We created the atmosphere of home – and kept it sustainable - by arranging the homeowners’ existing furniture into “rooms”, filling the built-in with personal mementos, and shopping the closets for other unique touches.
